Group Matwork
Mixed ability Pilates Classes
Pilates Group Matwork classes will focus on the mind and body connection, ensuring movement through the whole body. This will enhance alignment, stability, mobility and strength. There will be a focus on the spine, as Joseph Pilates said: "If your spine is stiff at 30, you are old. If it is flexible at 60, you are young."

Throughout the session the various exercises will enable an improvement in core strength, flexibility, joint mobility, balance and coordination. There is a conscious attention on the breathing, so as to enrich movement and to unwind and focus the mind.
​
There is a maximum of 12 people per class, so that observation can be given to everyone to ensure individual correct movement.

Private Sessions
1-2-1 or small private Pilates Classes
Private Pilates classes will be tailored to your requirements and fitness goals. They can address any specific issues, enabling you to benefit from this individual attention and feedback.
​
Whether you are new to Pilates, or have a lot of experience, private classes are a great way to focus on posture, strength, flexibility, control and stamina. It can also challenge you to achieve your desired goals. It will help to support you alongside other activities and daily life, or injury recovery.
​
The use of various small pieces of equipment, such as the toning circle or soft ball, can be included in the class to enhance and challenge movement.
​
I can provide for one-to-ones, duos or small group sessions. Private pregnancy and post-natal sessions are also available and are a great way to prepare and help the body to recover after birth.
​
I run these sessions on Tuesdays and Thursday at the Pilates Body Studio, Bexley. At all other times I am available for home-based sessions. Please get in touch to find out more.
Pre- and postnatal Pilates
Pilates tailored for pregnancy
Pilates is a positive and supportive way to exercise throughout pregnancy, helping you to prepare for pregnancy, birth and infant care. Pilates will help to maintain a good posture and to strengthen the core and pelvic floor. It will also assist in improving coordination and balance, whilst allowing time to breathe, relax, and spend some time focusing on yourself and the baby.

For postnatal recovery, Pilates can help to restore the body after birth, continuing to concentrate on posture. It will also help with general aches and pains and improve the position of the upper body. There will be a focus on the pelvic floor and abdominal function, to help the muscles strengthen and restore correctly.
​
Overall it improves the whole body, supporting you as a new mother with the demands of infant care.

Online Classes
Pilates Classes on Zoom
With the changing environment, exercising online has been a great way to keep moving from the comfort of your own home. If you have a busy schedule, it makes sense to join an online class.
Therefore, if you would prefer to exercise online, rather than getting to a studio, or to squeeze in an additional class, then an online class is an excellent option.
